Default Little Emblems(?) Inside stock '03 Rims

I was just wondering what the little emblem things inside the rims of the '03 S are for. I have recently gone and gotten new tires, and the ones on the rears have been popped off. There is still double stick tape where they were attached.... I figure the little machine used to get the tires over the rims took it off.

Any way, I want to make sure that they are nothing too important...

I think you are talking about the wheel-balancing weights.

Edit: Shadow_S2K was quicker.

Anticipating the next question: yes, it is correct that the tire mounting guy took the old weights off. He probably added new ones somewhere else.

If he didn't add new stick-on weights and instead used clip-on weights, complain. The rims are not supposed to be used with clip-on wheel weights.
