Location of VIN Sticker.

Location of VIN Sticker.
Will there be VIN stickers on the main body panels? If so where are they located.
I want to make sure none have been replaced.
Are there any extras that come with an 02 S2k that I should get with my car?
Just want to know what I should expect.
thanks

10 VIN stickers total:
4 under the hood: 1 each fender, 1 underside of hood, 1 front bumber on a little lip
2 in each door "well": one on either side of the door jamb (one on the rear fender piece, one on the swinging door piece)
2 in the trunk: 1 underside of trunk lid, one on the little lip of the rear bumper that points to the trunk
They're pretty obvious. Each is ~3 inches long by 1 inch tall and they're white.

I know this is a very old thread.... But
I am wondering if there had been any changes or reasons why a VIN tag wouldnt be on the lip of the trunk? I am looking into this car:
http://www.1800thompson.com/used/Hon...f0a41756ac.htm Lots of great photos
The dealer isnt very familiar with the S and I asked if it had possibly been rear ended and the parts replaced. He took it to his autobody group who is saying the car shows no signs of repair or an accident.
This car is a long drive for me so looking to cover as many bases as possible before commiting to that trip.

You posted in the Del-Val forum about it. That rear bumper sticker is not there for a reason. I would use it as a negative on the car and point them to these forums to explain why.

Before I pass on the car, can any 2005 S owner confirm the location of the rear bumper sticker? Ive found 2 other listings for 2005 models that had a photo of the trunk without the sticker. I havent found a 2005 with one but there arent many with that view in the photos.
