Yes, the glove box is locked shut so destroying the wind shield is probably the best bet. If that doesn't work, key your car, knife all your tires and set your interior on fire.

 

what cd faceplate was it.

 

I went to a locksmith to try to open it. He couldnt even open it at all he tried everything

I ended up drilling the lock out, took the lock apart.

the waffers on the locking mechanism were broken and was jamming the lock so the key couldnt go thru. Im just gonna roll with no lock or maybe spend the 100+ to get a new one.

 

you can pop a locked center console open without the key. There are a few members who have locked keys in their trunks and had to do this.

 

You can buy a whole glovebox or whatever term you want to use in the for sale section here for usually under $100 shipped.

to replace the lock at honda dealership with its own individual key is 45.

I the box with no key closes by itself, i never lock it so ill just have no key.

even with the top down driving and stopping the box never opens.
