Long time lurker, first time owner!
Wow, everyone is so friendly. Hi!
I actually haven't had symptoms with my CL-S transmission yet, but I always worried about it when I went above 85 MPH (the top speed in 2nd gear). In hindsight, if the 5 to 2 failure had occurred that one time I reached 140 MPH...
Ironically, I'm driving a lot slower now in my S. It's probably because I'm closer to the ground, it's noisier, feels more bumpy, so I feel like I'm already going fast! Then I look down and I'm only doing 60 MPH.
I'm sure I'll adapt soon.

I hit 145 in my CL-S...I was worried it was gonna slip too.
I guess I feel differently than you...I love the sound the engine makes going high speed. I have a hard time keeping it under 80. I only have a little while to go until she is broken in.
As far as the ride goes...I don't miss the smoothness of the CL. I love the fact that I can feel every bump and also how low to the ground I am.

Thanks SODA! I got the call sign "snowball" one time when I went to play lasertag wearing a big white sweatshirt... didn't realize that the arena was lit by black light. Lit up the whole place when I walked in!
I probably just have over-sensitive ears... I usually wear earplugs when I go to clubs. Tried them out on my commute to work today, made my ride much more enjoyable! For me, the engine sound is kinda like the beats of music at a club... my ears can't handle the volume above a certain threshold, but with the earplugs on, it sure is great to be able to feel the rhythm move you!
