at one point modifry had over 160k on his S, with at least 50k of these supercharged. the engine was going fine. maybe he'll chime in if he sees this one.
$11k might be too low to go with. Remember, he took care of the car and has all service records. So in his mind, even in ours, $11k might be lowballing him and could possibly upset him. After you put in all the work and care for it especially.
I think I'll just end up offering $12,000 if the dealership checks out properly and all the records line up with everything.
Go from there - my main concern / question is longevity, not necessarily pricing, although the input has been wonderful so far.

How are the tires? OEM replacements mean an additional $800 you'll have to deal with.
How is the top? The plastic can be fragile, especially after so many miles (I am on my 3rd - now canvas/glass). A $grand more work.
Original Clutch? (as mentioned) Another $grand there.
I hope you can close the deal. I have 162K+ on mine and love it to death.

AND it is about to be paid off!!!! Gosh I hope I didn't just jinx myself - haha
108K here on an 00 and I think 11 is lowball. Looking at the local market it seems like the truly good no wreck/well maintained examples have bottomed out at 13-14K. I hope it doesn't ever go below 10 as a bunch of dumb kids who currently drive riced out 240SX's will end up buying them, wrecking them all and driving up insurance etc. That's pretty much what happened to the E36 M3.
