Just bumping to say I'll be giving this car a serious look and if the dealership inspection checks out and he'll take $12,000 - I will likely be purchasing within a week.

i bought my 01 with 31k miles last year for 14K. I think you could get a lower price for the car! Full papers though is very important! Definitely get those retainers checked! and do a full fluid change to be safe!

Plenty of people baby their S2000.
While my 08 335 convertible is sitting on my driveway covered in snow, the S2000 is tucked safely in the garage.
I might have spent almost twice as much on the bimmer, it's not nearly half as much fun and precious as the 8 year old S2000 with almost 100k miles on it.
