Read the Faq I linked to maybe?

The 04+ has about 10% peak torque more, 4% generally, with shorter gearing and revised VTEC, so the car has more oomph under VTEC and in general.

You will need winter tires to drive in the snow. You can add aftermarket traction conrtol to an S, and 06+ come with stability control.

i'm not one to caught up in the ap1 vs ap2 debate, but why tell someone the ap2 is slower?

at least just give the facts. ap2 has a slightly larger engine, lower redline, same hp rating, but more torque. how does that equate to slower is beyond me
Don't get offended...I said that cause I've driven an AP2 and it just feels slower. Ask most people that have driven both, and they'll agree.

I have a sedan, in auto with paddles. I love the car but would rather have 30k in the bank and still have a nice car in the Garage, hence the S2K.

What kind of MPG does the S2K get? My 335 is only 21MPG in the city.

This will also be a huge factor in my decision.

Generally, 2004 S2000s get between 22-25 city - depends on how heavy a foot you have. Highway seems to range from 27-31+ - top up you get better mpg on the hwy.

MPG depends heavily on how you drive it. I started out at about 24mpg city/hw rush hour. Now I'm down to 21mpg as I spend more time in the power band.

Even if I drive my car light it's 21MPG. With the price of gas this is also a concern.
