Default Looking at an ap2 tomorrow. .need some advice

I'm looking at an 04 with 62k miles tomorrow morning and I'm curious to know if anyone sees something that i should take a second look at. It's on ebay, I'm using the ebay app on my phone so I don't have the link. It's an 04 in long island ny in Bohemia its yellow I'll post the link when I get home. Cars got suspension work and rims from what I see in the pics. Says clean carfax but it looks like the front bumper was painted and the hood looks off as well. Am I just seeing things? In one of the pics under the car there is an A written on what I think is the frame,. Is that normal? Any chance someone knows the car. It's at a dealership 10 mins from me.

It looks like the front lip of the hood does not fit properly; there is more of a gap in the middle of the front. I tried to see if you could make out the vin tags for each fender, front as well as the hood vin but no luck. No hood pic and the location for the front vin is just out of the frame. It looks like the appropriate screws, painted and unpainted, are correct however, either side of the radiator.

You will want to check on that in case the front/ hood was fixed from a collision. The top is not sitting all the way down but that happens a lot due to weak elastic straps; Modifry can fix that.

Not sure but it might be possible the fenders were rolled a bit.

Good luck.

The front bumper cover was surely painted as they have painted over the faux vents and have filled the license plate bracket mounting holes. The car looks clean but you definitely need to look at it in person.

The "A" on the subframe is normal.

Good luck.

Thanks I was also looking for vin tags and couldnt see them. My guess is front end collision that wasn't reported. I didn't realize the rolled fenders though. How can you see rolled fenders. Price wise I don't think it's that bad.

Car appears to have been lowered. Ahhh, there we go "upgraded" coil over suspension.

Is that a bad thing? That was one of the mods I was thinking about doing to the car I got if it wasn't done already.

not all are created equal. for the most part, "coil over" is likely a step down in performance. buy better tires.

good luck- can't wait to hear your review.
