Looking for a BMW style shift knob for the S2000
Hi All,
I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction here. I'm looking for a BMW-style shift knob for the S2000. The stock knob is good, but I've just gotten used to the BMW style knob.
Does anyone know if a shift knob exists for a Honda with the following criteria:
1) Color: Black leather or Silver metallic
2) Pattern: 6-speed with correct reverse, or no pattern
3) Installation: Standard Honda shift knob "screw it down" hole with threads, no fiddling with allen keys and bolts
Here is a picture of the shape I'm looking for:

Any help is appreciated!

I have exactly the knob you're looking for. I hate to say it, but I found it at freaking Pep Boys. Leather covered "short shifter" - $37.50
Bite your lip and walk down that shift knob aisle. Just try to avoid the LED, Dragon covered, "Type S" knobs they show there...

Thanks for the replies. Jason B, it definitely does not need to light up.
Fifteencharacters, do you have the part number for the knob from Pep Boys? Also, how do you like it? Does the S2000 shift well with this style knob?
Thanks!

So really it sounds like you're looking for a knob where the top sorta goes forward so your hand wraps around the stem more.. rather than a "round" type knob like on the S?
I had a nice momo in my VW that was like that rather than the round VW knob.. not sure which type mine was. Phantom or something, black leather with a black CF insert on the top...

Here, let me go take a few pictures of it in my car. I'll take a few snaps of the case and such too.
Edit:
The knob is a "B&M Racing" short leather shift knob. http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id=produ...subcat=5&pid=92 B&M Part number should be 80744.
Since the pictures on that site don't do it justice, I've included a couple quick snaps from my camera phone. It's a fine knob, if I do say so myself, although it may be a LITTLE high for most people's tastes. You don't to use any of the spacers. Just screw the knob on and away you go.

This one sort of got overexposed..
