I am looking at buying an S2000 (got my test drive this morning ), and after measuring up my garage have realised that the car is too wide and it's going to have to live outside.

I did think about getting a hardtop for the car for autumn and winter, but Honda quoted me

 

I have had my car for 4 1/2 years, parked outside everyday, and have had no problems. It is my only car therefore I use it as a daily driver. Take into consideration that I live in the US and not the UK so our weather is a little bit different.

I live in the South. We get a fair amount of rain and some ice and snow, but not a lot by any means. I have never had my top vandalized, and I have never had my top damaged by the elements. I am sure there are plenty of people here that can tell you stories to the contrary.

It is possible to own an S2000 and park it outside everyday without any problems. That being said, I wish I had a garage and a hard top.
