Looking at purchasing an s2000
I was just looking for some info, on how an s2000 would be for a daily driver? I plan to buy an 04+, because of the lower end torque, albiet I know the s2000 lacks it no matter what. I just sold my wrx, and will be down on power signifigantly (320whp and 280tq). The only thing that will bother me on this purchase, or the purchase of a 350z I am also considering, is driving the car in the winter. I do no drive much in winter, but it has to be a possibility. I may never drive the car in the winter, but if something arises, and I have to, I will not have a chioce. thanks
both cars will not be the best in snow.. like a wrx... but s2000 is fine for daily drivng if u dont need to load around alot of stuff... i do it jus fine, dont mind it one bit *except for when the sun is amazinly strong and im forced to go top down

You can DD the S, in addition to more torque, MY04+ seem to be a little more comfortable. Definately look for MY02+, as those have glass rear windows w/defrosters. All-season tires, such as Goodyear F1s, will make a big difference in the wet. You can drive in the snow but this is best done w/a second set of tires, like Blizzaks.
I was looking in my area, and have found a low kms well taken care of S2000. a bit more expensive than ones in the states. but it is Pearl yellow. The yellow S2000 only sold in Canada. It is an 01, which is dissapointing, but the vin is 00001. It was the very 1st pearl yellow s2000 ever. Comes with the hardtop, and car cover as well. still unsure what I should do. newer 04 from the states, or this rarer CDN model
