Default Looking to buy an S2000

I'm looking at an '02 S2000. Local dealer in Washington state is selling for $28,000. Can you please let me know if this is a good deal, and if not, what kind of deal should be realistc?

Thanks!

I am sure there is room for negotiation. Heck, I was in process of selling my Suzuka Blue 2004 with only 2450 miles for $28000.

I quickly got my head out of my backside and regained my senses. (keeping the car).

That sounds like a terrible deal, plus you need say how many miles it has.

You can get brand new 05 for 30K. You do the math.

I'd say thats an excellent deal...for the seller! The local Honda dealer here has a 02 Suzuka with 7k miles for $23k.

Thanks for the responses.

The car has about 29K miles. The dealer doesn't seem to be willing to go lower, saying they only get 1 used S2000 about every 2 months so I guess it's either take it or leave it.

Yeah, that's a bad deal. I would look to spend 23 to 24 grand for a similar car.

I don't think this is a good deal for you. If you look around, I am sure you can find one at much better price for you. Good luck!
