New Hampshire- no sales or income tax. So for comparison shopping when I say "OTD", I like to clarify the "no tax" issue.
In NH, the taxes are paid to the town/city- so to register the car, it'll probably run $800. And, though the amount decreases each year, it's that much every year; next year, for example, it might cost $725 and so on.
If you own property, your home, a business (and make a profit), as well as drive a car, this state sucks! Tax Free New Hampshire, my ass!
For most people, the car is the only issue, for many the property taxes as well.
I own my own business, as well, so the state sends me a big tub of Vaseline once a year.
Anyway, the MSRP was 33,450 (+/-), discount was about $3100.

I got a brand new 05 in California in January for $29.9K, so it seems like the should be able to do considerably better. Good luck.

I bought an 05 last weekend for invoice (right about 30K if I remember right). As everyone has said...terrible deal.
