Default Looking for a dual exhaust for MY06 with OVAL tips

Anyone know of any proven products that are out?

Ideally the tips will look very similar to the stock oval shape.

Thanks in advance,

Josh.

I too was going to post a similar thread.

What options do I have, if any, if I wanted to install the stock AP2 tips onto the aftermarket muffler?

The previous owner of my 04 had Magnaflow mufflers installed and tried to weld the stock tips onto them. The outlet for the Magnaflows was slightly smaller (?) than the stock muffler's and the "fragile" stock bracket for the right hand tip broke off fairly quickly. I brought it to an exhaust shop and they welded a pipe inside the chrome tip (effectively replacing the stock bracket) and then welded that pipe to the Magnaflow. Total cost: $40 (for the one). The good and bad news: It's never coming off.

Spugen! They use Magnaflow cans and can put either round or oval tips, depending on your preference.

They are a great shop, especially now that Duc is retiring!

p.s. They are in Whittier. Shop is actually called Anthony's Muffler Shop (562-945-1406).

Spugen has oval tips.

Comptech has slightly larger tips on there AP2 exhaust that fills the hole better but I don't think they are oval. That would be my choice not being a fan of oval tips...

There is only one known fitment right now and that is Invidia. Lots of rumors about others. The newest is the Tanabe fitting the MY06, That is according to their website. However, nobody has installed one on a MY06 and many websites' information about fitment has been wrong in the past.
