I know there are some aftermarket companies that make security systems which track the stolen vehicle by GPS and report its location directly to the police (similar to the Lexus systems), allowing them to recover the vehicle and aprehend the thief. I had thought of LOJACK, but it is not accurate enough. I was wondering if anyone has any experience or sugestions with these systems. Thanks

 

Wow......I know for a fact alot of trucking companies use these systems so ya might wanna try to start you search in that next of the woods......I also know they make them for teenage drivers.....so mommy and daddy always know where ya are.........Ya might want to check some spy type stores also....I saw a neat one where you just log on to your home cpu and can track a car with the sender unit on it for the cheating wife or hubby syndrome........Cool stuff surprised it has not hit the car market with full force. They are out there....ya just gotta surf

 

There is a few companies in Australia that offer this service - I'd be very surprised if this is not the case in the US also??
