Default Looking at S2000 few ?

Alright well ive been looking into an S for awhile got alot of information on them and such just had a few questions. The car in question is a 2000 with 42000 miles on it, I drove it today and it is my first s2000 that ive driven just had a few questions about the experience

1. How nothcy should the shifting be?? It wasnt super notchy but defiantly alot notchier then my gti which is expected some just wondering.
2. What should it idle at if its cold outside and after its warmed up??

Thanks Chris

synchros on the MY00 and some MY01 are a weak point, so that may be the problem. my ap1 idles at 1k rpm or just (one bar) below it .

i think there was a TSB on the synchros, so the owner could've fixed that already. but yes, test drive some other ones.

TSB's that are out of warranty are done as goodwill only. if you approach a local honda dealership with it, they may do it if you sound like you'll be a returning customer for service. it just depends; no guarantees.
