I run 17" SSR comps for the track. They'll cost just under 2K from Tire Rack. They are nice and light, and I think they look pretty good too.

i'd like to get light rims (number 1 criteria) which are a good value (not incredibly expensive) but the quality of the rim is something i dont want to sacrifice.

Order some Volk Ce28s in 16 x 7 and 16 x8. About 11 pounds a piece and arent too expensive for what you get in return. One of the strongest and best wheels ever made.

I had the first set of these in the country a few years back and ran them with the stock SO2s. Not only was the car noticeably quicker, the fitment and size looked great too.
