I dont know much about nitrous, but it seems like for the S2000 this is the way to go as far as strait line performance goes. Yes i know its not a drag car, but it still is fun. Anyhow, can someone explain to me how nitrous, when used correctly, and when used along with correct safty measures, how it hurts the engine anymore than a turbo/supercharger would. They both just add more O2 to the engine, yet nitrous has a cooling effect, and a buffer for detonation (Nitrogen, so i have been told). More importantly, its only used when needed.
Thanks
Sam

Comptech has a very reliable Supercharger. NOS is gonna start f*ucking up ur engine day by day.

A proper computer controlled dry manifold nitrous system will set you back some serious bucks. However, I would not recommend anything less if you are going to play with the bottle on a $32k sports car.

Well my 12.53 with the 80 shot nos was computer controlled, i had 10% to get of the line then 30% on second then 5 on third and had to shift to fourth but i was set at 10% there. It all depends on your settings and kit, i had a nx kit direct port wet, had gas octane 100 from sunoco and well i think with my numbers i can show i know how to drag the stook, working on my second stook now since the other got stolen, now i am trying turbo see if i get low 12's with that.

I'm kinda skeptical about the 12.53 with NOS...I know Larry's car ran a 13.1 with it but 12.5 sounds too good to believe. - by Jay Li

Larry was running a dry kit whereas TurboVtk is running a direct port setup on a progressive time contoller. Two completely different animals. I had a NX direct port set-up with the NOS digital progressive controller on my 93 Prelude Si Automatic and it went from 16.1 to 13.2 (100 shot). There is NO better bang for your buck (for straight line acceleration) than a direct port nitrous set-up. I toyed with the idea of a direct port set-up for quite sometime before going with the turbo. By the way, congrats TurboVtk you must be trying to figure out what you're going to do to shave that .6 off.

If I set up a 75 shot Fogger kit by NOS, am I able to break in 13s?
just wondering... I'll be happy with 13.00 though
