i took a bottle of nitrus (from my brother's paintball gun) and filled a frog with it (stick in mouth, shoot) i'm guessing it was about a 10 shot.... anyways... he immediately died due to extremely imbalanced pressure resulting in amphibious combustion, but at least one clumb of indistinguishable frog mass was projected 3 feet away in .025 seconds, at a speed of 111 ft/sec. So, by my calculation, in a frictionless environment the frog would have made the quarter-mile in 11.89 seconds. Pretty impressive, for a frog. =)

 

My prior car was a 97 itr. The car had a 50 shot dry nos kit.and it ran 12.90s @107mph. It also had an intake, header, exhaust, ac and power steering belts off, no seats and spare and mickey t. semi slicks. The same car without the juice ran a 14.2@96mph. Thats a 1.3 second drop from just the 50 shot nos kit. So If you put an 80 shot on a 14 second car ...12.50s are totally beliveable for me.
I ran juice on that car for 2 years straight. I never had the slightest problem. I ran a 14.19 in it right before I sold it and the car had 39,000 very very hard miles on it.
To keep it safe I did retard the timing to 14.5-15 degrees, used one step colder ngk spark plugs, used octane booster or race fuel, used the supplied fuel pressure safety switch, and bought a msd rpm window switch that let me choose what rpms the nos kicked in and when it automatically shut off.
When I had the r I had money to fix it if I broke it. Now that I have my s along with a new house payment I dont have the money to fix the s If the ugly happens. My s is 100% stock but I want to put the blue bottle in it bad! nos kicks ass!
