Looks vs performance, what should come first?
50/50 split, as the budget allows... a lot of the "looks" part you can do yourself (or with help; Amanda and I installed the kit and wing in the garage in a single night.). The same thing goes for some of the performance work - I did the exhaust myself and may do the coilovers/brakes here.

Then I thought, I am going to put all this money into a Civic and at the end of it all I will still have a Civic. Not that thats a bad thing, I just felt like something with a little more class. I think the S with factory add ons like the lip, sides and lowered just a little looks killer, but until by warranty is up there is no way I am putting a SC or any other heavy mod on the engine. just my $.02

I've also wondered if it can really be true that the engine could be covered by any warranties from a supercharger manufacturer, or by a dealer. Isn't it more likely warranties only cover the supercharger itself, just as any other product is covered with regards to manufacturing faults etc?
I'd love to add an SC if I had the funds, but I'm farliy sure it would void *any* Honda warranty - be it engine, drivetrain, whatever - over here anyway. It would also be illegal as it would change the specs of the car from what has been approved in the EU. I think that could get you into serious trouble both legally and in terms of insurance if you're for instance involved in an accident.

Ask your dealer what would happen if your engine seized due to oil starvation and the DSM told them Honda would not pay for the repair since the DSM beleives the supercharger caused the engine to be under too much stress.
