Default Loose power outlet

Like many S2000 owners, my power outlet ("cigarette lighter") came loose. The part that screws onto it comes loose and lets it flop about.
I discovered, after removing 9 screws on and around the "glove box" that I only needed remove 3 screws to screw the back piece back on to the power outlet. Here's how:
Flip the back of the passenger seat forward and push the seat forward, remove the two screws holding the two plastic hooks on the panel behind the seat seat and remove the hooks and panel, remove the screw on the side of the glove box and pull the side of the glove box out to the side. If your arm is fairly skinny you can reach in and screw the back part onto the power outlet. I managed it today!

yep, all it takes is 3 screws. Very quick fix. Had the same thing happen to mine as well.

Thanks for posting this. I've been putting off fixing mine 'cause I figured it would be a PITA.

Been there, done that......for a number of owners. Skinny arms help, and that is exactly the process I use.
