Thumbs up Lost my oem wheel lock key!

Yea I can't believe I'm that dumb but had a brain failure last night and lost my wheel lock key.

Question is how many different variations of wheels locks did Honda make? Can I buy just the wheel lock or how do I take care of this....

thanks
rick

There should have been a card that came with your wheel locks that has a code specifying which key pattern your wheel locks are....find it and call the number on it to replace the key.

If you don't have a card, you can go to honda. They have a set of keys and should be able to take it off. They should be able to get a code for you. Then you have to contact McGuard to get it replaced.

Also some local auto parts franchises sell a wheel lock removal kit.

There should be a sticker on your trunk lid with a number in case you lose the keys. Just call mcguard and give them the number on the sticker and they can make you a new set.

They have several key locks at the Honda dealership. All you have to do is go to Honda and ask them which key do they have that matches yours and they will order you a new one. I believe it cost about $15 bucks. For proof of identification they'll check the vin number and your registration.

but the sticker in the trunk lid would be as effective as the sticker on the left side of the glove box for the radio code. people who don't know what it's for take it off and throw it away.
