is there a difference in the key making/duplicating process between the ap1 and ap2?
does the ap1 key have an immobilizer?

Well as for pricing it seems that ebay is giong to be my best pricing so here is what I found so far and was not able to find both from one seller to save on shipping costs so each item has to come from someone different....

1 Key - $13
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA-KEY-2...sQ5fAccessories

1 Key FOB - $32.50
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-2005-2...=item3353e4232b

TOTAL COST RIGHT NOW UNCUT AND UNPROGRAMMED BUT SHIPPED TO ME SO FAR - $45.50

zippy, you sure? They were very confident that they had done it before...some new machine they got a few months before I had my tires mounted. I'll go try in the next week or two if nobody else does! The hard part comes in if you don't have an existing key....they said they NEED a working one.
They prob talking about just " copy " the key? idk, Let us know.

There is two key options from the dealer. One has a "copied" RFID and the other has a new RFID. The new one needs to be programed via the honda tool.

I got mine from a dealership for about $45 as well. Just a key nothing special.

I've heard that ACE hardware stores now have the ability to cut chipped keys for you but I haven't tried so you'd have to go there and ask.
