You must be out of your "VTECH" fluid.

The car's a dud, its messed up like shit... I'll be willing to take it off of your hands for $500, trust me thats more than you can ever get for it... The cost of repairs alone will be worth more than the car...

Just some advice... good luck... let me know what you want to do

Don't thrust this fools.

Yes, you've lost your vtec activating system, so your revs, (as the vtec is the revs between 65000 and 9000), are lost.

To fix this, you have to:
A) start the car next morning.
B) open the hood
C) Caress the red part of the motor. This one showing 'Honda' text.
D) Keep caressing (with the engine runnign) for about five minutes.
E) The revs will return to the vtec, and will attach themselves after the 6500 ones, so they will be ready for you again !!

(Note: To verify that the 'loosed' revs are attached to the vtec system, check if you have three squares in the left part of the dashboard)
Sorry for the question, but I'm new to the board. Do the vtechs and the revs live under the red thing you're talking about? My current car doesn't have any vtechs. Do you think if I painted my motor red some of them would move in? I sure would like to get some of those vtechs!

Scot

Just in case all these comments got you confused...

Until the engine is warm enough, it won't let you go into Vtec - presumably you did not have enough bars on the temperature guage. wait until it's warm, then floor the throttle and keep it there until you get arrested...

BTW, I tried the willy dipping test this morning.... not recommended
