How would I check the coolant temp?
Rectal thermometer in the exhaust pipe.

Take of the radiator cap and dip your willy in the fluid.
I find it difficult to believe that Honda would make such a sexually discriminant car.

Maybe your V-TECH fell out when you skidded into a wall? Mine fell out once and it took soooo long to put it back as you have to wind all the rubber bands by hand.

What you should be doing when it rains is put the little tyre you have in the boot on the side you keep spinning on. That's what it's for, it's like a little water ski for your car.

If you hit walls a lot, make sure you keep your airbags topped up with carbon dioxide not carbon MONoxide. Very important.

this could be a long shot but do you still have winter air in your tires? you should always drain them and refill them with summer air this time of year.

The dealer will usually do it for only $175 + tax. Not a bad deal if you ask me. I spun out last weekend, only to realize later on that I still had AUTUMN air in my tires! Anyway, I'm going to install the "Tornado" this weekend. I think that'll help with my VTECH issues.
