Default Low Mileage Maintenance

MY 2005. I change the oil twice a year and I have changed the transmission fluid and rear diff fluid once about 2 years ago. The car has not been tracked.

I notice in the manual that they want brake fluid changed after 3 years. The pollen filter after two and the air filter after 30k miles. I'm thinking about having all of the above done now.

Other than inspections is there other items that I should consider.. stuff that is not dependent on mileage? Like an alignment? I don't see any abnormal tire wear and the car doesn't pull or anything and I'm thinking I should just leave it alone.

I would just do the things you mentioned.. everything else should be A-OK.

routine maintenance is always good. its usually based on how long or how many miles have been put on the fluid.

I usually have an alignment done when I have new tires installed.

You might want to use some of that Shitzu grease on the rubber seals of the soft top.

Sounds fine...take care of the car and it will take care of you.

Forgot about that. Good idea.

I had to look it up and it's actually Shin-Etsu but Shitzu I'll remember.
