I just got my S a couple weeks ago. Since there is no dipstick for tranny fluid, how do you know if you are low on tranny fluid? I know that you have to crawl under there to check it, but are there signs that you can tell?

the only way to tell is to take out the fill plug on the side of the tranny and check it, but if you have to do that you may as well change it while your under there

 

just loosen the fill plug and stick your finger in there, you should be able to feel some fluid
