but those are super fun cars, gets a little hairy if you get on them too soon in a corner though, i have a friend who has one, talk about power!

The cheapest way to lower your RPM on the freeway would be to just lower your cruising speed.

that is a good point though. when i commute to work, or pretty much whenever i drive on the freeway, i set my cruise control between 65-70mph. pisses everyone off in california though. but going into turns, my brake pedal is broken too

I wish there were a real sports car with a 7th gear for highway cruising to save gas. I think the S has a hi rpm even in 6th gear on the free way

Dude the problem with your quote in your sig is that 17 year olds would still be paying $250/month to insure the car.

ok well i guess that i have never taken it easy for a whole tank of gas in the s, while i have in the lude, i guess if i ease up a bit i can get her up into the high twenties instead of low twenties, thanks.

and from what i have gathered taller gears = no good unless you have more power, and since i don't see myself turboing or sc any time soon, i guess that i just need to ease up on it, i think that i need to do a road trip to see how good the s can get, last lude rt she got 34 mpg, i was so proud

driving habits make a HUGE change in a car like this. If I drive mine easy I can squeak out 27 mpg commuting and 32 mpg highway. If I drive it like it's meant to be driven it will be in the low 20's.
27mpg city? wow I rarely push my car and I get 21mpg city if I'm lucky -_-

That's not city, that's my commute. My commute is just a couple stop signs and curvy roads all the way to work.

OFF-TOPIC BUT TO O.P:

Did you post the picture of the S2000 on the wikipedia page or did someone use your picture without you knowing?
