Unhappy Lowering an 06 with coilovers

OK so I've decided I can't mod the engine in my 06 much so lets get it going round corners better.

Already got my set of Nitron coilovers sorted.

Thinking it through I have a couple of areas I can't seem to find answers with the on/off search engine

1) If I lower it 30mm do I need to make any adjustment to the rear brake bias, as it is attached to the rear track rod, which will end up in a different "resting" position. If so any ideas on how to set it correctly?

2) My car is one of the few with Honda's new traction control (VSA). It seems to use a yaw sensor near the diff and a lateral G sensor near the gearbox to measure yaw. If it is unhappy with the yaw rate it plays with the 4 channel ABS & throttle. Question is will lowering it mess with it ? Will it just not let me go round corners any quicker as it has it's own idea of what lateral G I'm allowed to pull?

Input and thoughts apprecaited guys!

i think the sensors are more concerned about being level similar to the stock position. so as long as you lower the car evenly the sensors shouldn't be confused. other have lowered and have not had any issues.

I know a few 06 owners have lowered but I don't think any have the VSA yet.

Really confused on the brake bias as well. In principle this is an issue for EVERY lowered car

I know it's a concern... and I'd like to know the answer too... but you can always just turn it off... lol.

Cheers

Mine is coming down with coilovers. (sounds like a medical condition )

It's not a rubbing issue I'm worried about. More how the traction control will react to more lateral G in corners

oh i see... just turn it off then! but if you think about it the sensor has to be tied in with something else beause so many factors can affect latteral G from a banked turn to just plain surface that has more grip (or less) i wouldnt worry about it... and if it does do sumthing funny just turn it off

jzz30 - it is done with two sensors (lateral G @ front & Yaw at the rear) as well as steering wheel. It also knows the speed at each wheel. That give it enough to work out whether it is in oversteer, understeer or lost traction.

Pelka - I post some for you! CE28's on though!
