I am confused as to some of your statements:

Statement: OK so I've decided I can't mod the engine in my 06 much so lets get it going round corners better.

My response: What on earth made you think that you cannot mod the engine? There are a lot of mods you can do on the MY06 S2000.

Statement: I know a few 06 owners have lowered but I don't think any have the VSA yet.

My response: All MY06 S2000s (state-side that is) have VSA.

I probably have the most mod'd MY06 S2000 in the states. Not bragging or anything but I haven't come across any other member with anywhere near the same amount of mods. If you have any questions about what you can/cannot do at this time just ask me. I am not a technical guru, but I can tell you first hand what can/cannot go on an MY06.

BTW...if you are tracking the car (or even doing spirited driving) you will want the VSA OFF.

Thanks for that.

Don't forget we don't get a tenth of the gear or support you can get in the US.
No way I can get local support for a reflashed ECU.
Can't find an AEM V2 supplier for the 06.
We are a bit backwards over here like that.

Mine is the first UK forum members car with VSA. it is an option over here that add 16 weeks to the delivery time
Coupled with the fact that there aren't many +04's with coilovers in the UK

I've a track day booked for 07/07/06 so I'll take your advice!

^ I guess I don't fully understand why you cannot order performance parts--can't you order them over the Net?

BTW...you won't find a supplier for an AEM V2. AEM hasn't, and won't, made one for an MY06. They are making a CAI though, and it should be available for sale within the next month or so.

Sure - but buying bits (06 ECU reflash?) and setting up correctly or supporting are two different things. I guess the 3 year warranty is a factor as well.

Thanks for the heads up on the AEM V2.
