Default Lowering licence plate.

Are there any effect and cheap way to lower the license plate into the grill? Has anyone seen or have done it? Pictures would be nice.

I resisted getting Rick's license plate holder for a long time because I didn't think it looked that good on his website. Finally got one and am very pleased. It's lower than the stock holder and looks particularly good on silver cars.

that isn't a good idea since some people had overheating issues. it's like putting a peice of cardboard in front of your radiator in winter up in canada.

I've never had an overheating problem according to the factory temperature gauge. I'd like to know from someone with an aftermarket, more accurate gauge if the coolant does in fact get hotter.

Just fold the plate and I think there's plenty of air getting in.

No difference in the temp gauge on mine either. My plate is not folded.

bluezeke,
I've driven the last 5 year without front tags in MD without any warning, even when pulled over for something else. Did you ever try taking the front tag off? I know it's required in MD, but it's not enforced.
Though if I had to run one, rick's holder looks better than stock.

No problems with mine, either. Even in the 110 degree weather.

I'd rather not mess with getting pulled over because of the no front plate. And I know it will happen when I'm late for something.
