Lowering Springs
I wanna get some lowering springs (for now) for my AP1.
What are some good springs out there that will keep my suspension and handling
as good as stock or better?

Just take the torch to your OEM springs, and cut off 3 "inches.!!!
Cheap $$$,and low enough.!!!

The Eibach Pro Kit lowers the car an inch, and maintains good ride quality because of their progressive rate. It's true that when you lower an S2000 you increase bump and roll steer issues, but this can be corrected if you're autocrossing or racing. IOW, you can safely ignore the detractors.
A lot of S2kI members have also used Espelir springs, but since I have no first hand experience with them I can't recommend them. I know for sure that the Eibach Pro Kit works very well on the car, doesn't screw up the ride quality, and has little effect on the handling. If you bump-steer the car after lowering you'll actually reduce weight transfer, which will improve cornering grip. After lowering you'll have to have the car aligned anyway, and you can use alignment to fine tune the handling.
