You're still going to have bump and roll steer issues when you lower the car. It's not as simple as springs and shocks.

another vote for eibach pros- almost identical to the stock ride and about an inch drop:

I have to take the larger speed bumps at an angle, but as long as I do that, and stay on primary streets and/or roads, scraping isn't a problem. There are plenty of secondary roads in this area where pavement heaves would probably result in scraping, but I drive an RX320 on those roads.

Good point though; if you have to negotiate steep driveways or rough roads lowering can cause lots of problems. For some roads and areas the car is too low even when stock.
