Default Loweringf spring geometry

After reading the article posted on the main page it seems to say that installing lowering springs alone is a bad idea cause it will offsed geometry.... im alittle lost now, i have 18'' wheels, would this have had any impact with geometry or only the springs? or would the wheel and spring combo balance out... seems it says only effect the springs will give is bling... and i dont like bling over steering

I would take that with a grain of salt, alone with the article bashing Evo's. My friend who is a driving instructior for the scca told me I will fell a bigger difference going from stock to springs, then from springs to coilovers. He jsut bought a Porsche GT3 btw. Just my $.02
