I seriously doubt S2000's will appreciate any time soon. In 15-20 years? Yeah probably.

friend picked up a apex blue cr with ac/audio for 26,900 in november. i saw recently a non ac car go for 24,200 on ebay. these are both new prices.
That apex blue no ac/radio was sold to a guy in Ohio.

I'm not sure about with a/c radio but $24k is the lowest I've seen for a CR as well

If I were to buy a CR you can bet it wouldn't have AC or a radio

depends on what you are using it for...

keep in mind, the one that sold for $24k with no a/c and no radio was bought from a dealership in Las Vegas... think

unless you are turning the car into a dedicated track car, i'll sacrifice the extra weight of a/c so i don't melt in the car in july.

i grappled with the same decision. i will be using the CR primarily as a track car, but i traded in my tow vehicle on the CR. i decided to get a/c and audio, since it will make the 1000 mile drive to and from events tolerable.

I think that's the logic for the majority of CR owners...

I'll track my car twice a year, make two trips to the dragon, and maybe auto-x this year if i have time..

If I go the route of s2k #3, it would be a CR, but with a/c and radio. Talking to myself for 9 hours one way to the dragon is not a fun proposition

It's slapping a nice CAI and echaust and having the car talk to you is what I'd look forward to

Not for 9 hours in the summer with no a/c or radio it isn't..

I don't care how "hardcore" someone claims they are...."Listening to the sweet sound of VTEC" or whatever you want to call it really gets old (and on the highway??? I call ).

I'm running 4.77s so 9 hours of the motor spinning at 5800 or so gets old...... regardless of how nice it sounds..

My $.02

I dont' think price of CR will EVER appreciate.

more I think about it, More i'm not liking the CR. I like driving with top down whenever possible and thought of getting caught in the raid with without a raisable softtop is nono.

I wonder thought.. how hard would it be to transfer a complete used softop to a CR. with CR price being so low it may be a worth while to look into.
