reinforced braces are in the way so you'd have to fab something custom to get a top to fit in.

i'm in the same boat though..my biggest concern would be the lack of a softop..

Just a question.....Has anyone traded an 04-08' S for a new CR? If so, what kind of trade was it moneywise ? Fair or no?

Not for 9 hours in the summer with no a/c or radio it isn't..

I don't care how "hardcore" someone claims they are...."Listening to the sweet sound of VTEC" or whatever you want to call it really gets old (and on the highway??? I call ).

I'm running 4.77s so 9 hours of the motor spinning at 5800 or so gets old...... regardless of how nice it sounds..

My $.02
well when you put it that way I have to agree

Portable speakers are what will keep me from going crazy on 10 hour drive to the dragon.

Those prices are outrageously low, but I NEED a soft top...and I'd use a hardtop exactly twice (once to see what it was like, and once to show my wife).

Great example.... and very true..

....but I've been going to the dragon twice a year for nearly 6 or 7 years now.... you can do the math... twice a year, 9 hours each way... x 6 or 7 years (I think a few times I've gone down with someone so it's not an exact number)... but you get the idea...

and you have an electronies junkie badge which means you probably have some sort of system, I'd assume..

My current S has new components, new HU, all new heavier gauge wiring, ipod adapter, 10" sub in custom trunkwell and an amp...

I wouldn't put all that into a CR... so it would be another sacrifice to make. (Of course my current setup has the ability to pull the amp and sub out quickly for track days/auto-x/etc..)

Good observation, but that badge is as old as dirt. Now, my only car (1992 civic) has a $79.99 Target CD player, and two Bazooka 6.5" coax. speakers.

The only EJ item in there is the homemade headlight warning buzzer for when I leave my lights on.
