I owned a MY00 and put about 60,000 miles on it over the course of a few years, mileage was creeping up and decided I wanted to own a pristine example. Found a 2006 with a little under 20k mi on it a few years ago and drove them both for about a year before selling the MY00. For the past couple years I have been planning to eventually install a Science of Speed S/C kit to up the power but have avoided it due to the inevitable cost of upgrading everything else on the vehicle along with it... Until last weekend when I found an S2000 for sale that would most certainly satisfy that itch, I just couldn't pass it up. So my garage is once again, home to two beloved S2000's. The newest addition, a 2004 Suzuka with a little over 13,000 miles on it, has quite a few tricks up its sleeve, most notably an LS7 (GM 7.0L V8, 505HP, 470TQ) under the hood as well as a extensive list of modifications.
I'm looking forward to ownership of this handful of an S2000

I'm pretty excited about it! Although I haven't had much time with it since the purchase, took it into a shop that specializes in everything LS to have the clutch replaced with something more streetable so it'll also be a week or so until it's back in my hands and a photoshoot will soon follow. For now, here's a quick parts list off the top of my head:

Tracy Sports wide body kit, complete
APR GTC200 wing
Toda Flight-ex coilovers
AP Racing 6pot 14" big brake kit Front & Rear
HRE 19" wheels wrapped w/ 275/30 & 315/30
LS7 7.0L V8 crate motor from Turnkey Engine Supply
T56 trans
Cobra R 8.8" rear end
Bride seats
Simpson 4pt harnesses
100 shot wet nitrous kit
APR CF Mirrors

I also just found a photo of the corner balancing results from the original build

I can't help but grin when looking at this...what a beast! Really cool! I have to wonder, though...does the new engine's weight significantly affect the handling?

Wow
That thing actually looks really nice!
I'm not a fan of the rear wing or the side mirrors (for some reason they are popular in this crowd) but otherwise thumbs up.
Can you really even call it an S2000 running a V8?! LOL

Any shots of the rear? I'm hoping there's not a massive single slung pop can hanging off the ass!

I'd love to do an LS swap, but in my state I'd never get it through the annual inspection.
Nice car there !
