Default Lug LOCK questions are they all different?

As some of you guy/girls already know from my last post honda never gave me my lug key so that i can remove the lug lock. They are telling me that all the locks are different on the s2k. They want me to go in and get them all replaced (lug locks) and they will give me new ones with a new key. I was always under the impression that honda lug locks are universal, but my honda dealer tells me that all the locks are different. If i was to use a black s2k lug key on my white lug lock it would not fit.. lmao.. is this true, becuase I'd love to call his bullshit on this.. I just want the key for the lock and thats it.. Don't really want them touching my s2k again .

Are you talking about the actual wheel LOCKS? The ones with the squiggly pattern on the face? If so, then yes, those are made by McGard and they are all different.

yes that's what I am talking about those.. They said they have a master key and will need to use that to remove my existing locks. Then replace the locks with a new set and give me a key.

That "master key" is a conical device (like a tapered socket) that will likely damage (or even destroy) the existing locking lugnut. They pound the thing on and it grabs the outer rim of the lugnut. There is no real "skeleton" key for our OEM lug locks.

I see - I just wanted to make sure that the lug locks were orignal. The locks i've got on the rims now are pretty much useless since they lost the key. Thanks everyone for posting and helping me out.
