I had it done at a shop for $150 and instead of hammering the rear they soddered new brackets. Very, very happy with the mod, except I had to get that pillow for long drives. (Now I use it all the time)

I have the same problem as most of you and ordered the one from Moss Motors as mattnyu99 found. Thanks.

Chandler_hall, I have a question as I looked at the seat back to figure out how to install. You said you pulled out the perforated middle section of the seat to slide the pillow down, can you describe which portion of the leather cover of seat back to pull down and how? It looks pretty solid to be able to simply pull up from the bottom. Did you have to remove the seat bottom first? Removed the seat from the car?

Thanks.

Did you try using it for more than 10 minutes? Pretty amazing how it reacts to your body heat and contours to fit you. Did you get the lil one you posted pic of our the multi use one I use? The one I use is much bigger....

In any case, very sorry if I steered you worng
no worries. you have to try things to see if they work. Refund policy at brookstone is solid anyways.

thx

JL,

The whole middle section of the seat (the perforated section you lean back on between the side bolsters), is only attached at the top and bottom, not at the sides. Just dig your fingers in between the side bolster and the center section and pull the center section forward a bit. You can pull it out far enough to stick padding or whatever in behind it and then push it right back again. It's nice because unless you put a LOT of padding behind it, you can't even tell there's anything back there just looking at it. Still looks completely stock and no loose pads to dick around with all the time. It's a real back saver!

Yes, I just checked and I see now how easy it will be to install. Thanks a lot, R11.

I just received the Moss Motors inflatable support and it has to be the best mod for the buck! I highly recommend it since it is infinately adjustable and stealth.

I got the same thing delivered yesterday, also, and I like it a lot. It fits really well with the seat. Event the width of the pouch is perfect size. I look forward to next weekend when I will be driving my S for 3 hours each way and I will find out the effect.
