Default Magnum Spun titanium Voodoo shift knob

i just got my new magnum spun titanium voodoo shift knob a few days ago and there are like tiny little spots of residue and stuff on it. is there something i am suppose to use to clean it? alcohol? i dunno

What kind of residue? It should be able to come off and save yourself the trouble of replacing it.

it looks kinda like rust. i'm just wondering what i should use to clean it. i'm pretty sure it'll come right off, but what to use? water? rubbing alcohol?

it can corrode, not rust. I would recommend a car cleaner/wax or polish. But let the vendor sort it out, in private.
