Good Afternoon,
I was driving and the maintenance light flashed for about 5 seconds and disapeared. Hasn't come on since. When I put my key in before starting the engine, maintenance light flashes for about 10 secs and quits. I've heard that this may happen if you change your own oil. Any suggestions on this? Please advise. Thanks

 

This is pretty well documented in the owner's manual, shake. It's essentially a warning that you're coming up on a service interval.

The method for clearing it has to do with pushing a couple of the buttons on the electronic dash while you turn the key to the on position... If you can't find it in the manual, give a holler and I'll help locate it for you.

If you haven't already done so, I recommend a cover-to-cover read of that document.
