maintenance light question
My car is at 26,000 miles and the maintenance blinks when I first turn the car on and shots off a few seconds after. I used the search button and didn't find anything specific, what does this indicate and should I not be driving the car hard until I get it taken in?

It means that you didn't read your owner's manual. It is a reminder that it is getting close to 7500 miles since your last oil change (well, technically getting close to 7500 since the reminder was last reset). When it hits the 7500 mark the reminder will come on solid and stay on. Reset procedure is in the manual. It involves holding in the trip button on the instrument cluster and then turning the ignition to "ON" and continuing to hold the trip button till the light goes out. It will then start flashing again at startup as you approach 7500 miles.

Its just a timed light that tells you its time for some maintenance. It dosent mean there is anything wrong. Just turn the car off hold down the trip button I belive and turn the ign. to ON while holding the button give it like 5 or 10 secs. it will shut off. If you do your own maintenance take a look at your schedule and see what needs to be done, if you bring it to the dealer for that stuff just go on down there and they will know what to do.
