Maitenance Required Light
I just purchased my car and the Maintenance Required Light was on. I read the manual and tried to get this light to turn off. Put the key in the lock or 0 position and hold the trip button to reset the light. This has not worked.
Any suggestions?

It can be confusing to read.
Try this......
Sit in car
Key in ignition - but not turned.
Press and hold the trip button.
Turn key all the way to "on"
Continue to press and hold trip button for 3-5 more seconds.
You should see the maint light turn off on its own.
Give it a test to see if that worked.
-then go yell at the dealer for such an obvious oversight!
