I'm one owner, and I'm sure there are others, who've had the RM and replaced it with the AEM and I can tell you that the RM degrades performance and the AEM improves it.

At meets people would always pull on me ever so slightly with the RM installed. Now that I've switched to the AEM I pull on most, but not all, cars ever so slightly.
