Default Make recommendations..

So I am doing some service to my car soon to get it "good as new." I'd figured I'd make a thread to poll people on what they use and to get some ideas. Part numbers would help (esp for OEM stuff like filters).

-Oil
-Oil filter
-MTF
-Diff
-Air filter
-Cabin filter

So far this is what I've come up with.
-------------------------------
-?
-? (Probably OEM, unsure on part numbers)
-Honda MTF or GM Syncromesh II
-? (Probably OEM, unsure on part numbers)
-? (Probably OEM, unsure on part numbers)
-? (Probably OEM, unsure on part numbers).

I won't be doing this for a few weeks, and I could easily just go to Honda and get all the parts/info OEM - but this is phase one of my market research and I want to see if any S2kiers have better (and up to date, not outdated search results) input! Also, is there anything else I should be looking at doing? I've read about Shinetsu grease on here for seals.. LMK. Looking for good ideas/suggestions on preventative maintinence stuff.

Rick

Oil Filter: OEM (ordered a six-pack from Majestic Honda)
MTF: Penzoil Synchromesh
Diff Fluid: Mobil 1 full synthetic gear lube
Air Filter: I have a K&N FIPK
Cabin Air Filter: OEM (I don't even know if there is an aftermarket route here)

Oil: M1 or Castrol Syntec. M1 burns quicker in some engines.
Oil Filter: Honda OEM, PCX filter
MTF: New Honda MTF
Diff Fluid: LE-607
Air Filter: Depending on intake.
Cabin: Only OEM...

Hardtopguy is the only place I know to get LE-607 along with all the other stuff at the same time. Walmart sells sythetic oil, 5qts jug for $21~.

I remember reading a whole analysis of why the penzoil synchromesh is not good for the tranny. I use the GM synchromesh friction modified (it makes a big difference but seems to break down quicker).....I think some people think that the penzoil one is just a re branded version of that....its not. But the supposedly the new honda MTF is really good also, thats what I plan on using for the next tranny fluid swap.

-Oil: Mobil 1, Amsoil, or Redline(what I use)
-Oil filter: OEM
-MTF: Tried Redline, but didn't like it too much, so new Honda MTF now.
-Diff: LE 607, but plan on upgrading to LE 1605
-Air filter: K&N drop in
-Cabin filter: OEM, doesn't really matter
