I'm a musician (in addition to by "real job"). My wife always says my 1st love is music and she's #2.

Since buying my "Little Stookie", she claim's that she lost a spot and slid to #3.

I find myself occaisionally walking to the front door to look at the car in the driveway, or opening the garage to check it out. I told her that I look at her the same way when she's sleeping on the couch, but I don't have to get out of my chair to admire her. Didn't go over real well...

I tell my wife I love her every night...just before I go out to the garage to sleep next to Melissa.
Kidding. Melissa is a car. My wife is the reason I was able to buy her. She backs me in every decision. We make a very comfortable living because we support each other and we're both extremely ambitious. She even suggested I buy my S2K.

I have not been married a year yet but even with the four years being together, she knows that I love cars. But she does know that a car can't replace what a woman can do for you. Right now she pretty much gets interested about any car I bring up when I talk about the stats and what nots.
At least, she appreciates my interest in what I like. So for that and among other things, I will always love her for it.

Jeffrey..who's wife prolly loves the S2K more than me! J/K

She knew from the 'get go' that she was marrying a CAR NUT. This question has never been an issue, just a fact of life. Besides, What's love got to do with it? (as per Tina Turner)

I've been married 25 yrs and dated her for 5 yrs before that. This girl knows better than to ask me a question like that. Kind of reminds me of the Fleetwood Mac "Don't ask me what I think of you, you might not like the answer --------!

Hey Gary - I'm a musician too (come check me out at the beach this summer) so my wife knows there's lots of competition for attention and affection. But I keep it real by reminding her that the car is just my toy.

(Now I know some dudes refer to their ladies as toys but that's another matter...)

I love my wife more then my car, plus she has also lived with my car obsession. We have been together for a total of 7 years and in that time I have owned 8 different cars and she has never givin me a hard time. But if you do love the S2000 more answer this question like you would answer the question "Do I look fat in these pants?" Answer "Of course not honey". Because if you say you love the S2000 more then it is like saying "No the pants don't make you fat, the fat makes you look fat." Well if you are married then you know what will happen

Good thread! You all make me laugh. Have not heard any comments from the ladies about husbands/significant others. Now that should be good.

My wife knows I am a fanatic when it comes to my S2000. She does not mind, she figures it keeps me out of trouble. I figure it keeps me out of the dog house . Besides she has her car of choice.
