For married S2000 owners
Over the 28 years of marriage and the countless cars and motorcycles we have had, she knows I am a better, happier and more centered spouse when I have a fun car. And finally I am not writing large checks to some guy named Wolfgang to constantly keep my 30+-year old Porsche running or calling all over the world looking for the correct right-side heater valve for a '59 356A Cabriolet. So we have speed, style and reliability all in one. Life is grand. And as mentioned in an earlier post, she much prefers riding to driving the S2000. So there are no questions about "Do you love me more than the car?". It's a "package deal". Am I lucky or what???
My Wife just says that its better than an affair....
Besides, we've got five kids and anytime anyone says "... but its doesn't have room for the kids" she answers "Exactly!"
The two of us took a trip to Mytle beach for a week. Both golf bags and the luggage fit in the trunk.

My wife has been more than happy with us buying the S2000 - she says it makes me far more relaxed and happy particularly if I have had a bitch (no pun intended
) of a day at work. In fact, I think she's as proud of the car as I am.
She likes to drive but doesn't get much of a chance - she realises that it's my toy and a MAJOR stress-release mechanism. (Note to myself: must remember to ask her if she wants to drive next time we go out
).
She's perfectly happy being the passenger, however she isn't particularly happy at the speed I drive at (and I am not talking about stupid speeds). So I have to take the occasional solo run just to let the car go.
However, our dog isn't too happy with the car. The suspension is far harder than what she is used to so she finds it hard to get comfortable.
Tony
P.S. And I do still love her as much as I did before buying my S2000
P.P.S: What a great thread.....
