I had a TERRIBLE experience with Mastergrade. I ordered the CF hood, and the OEM lip. They charged my credit card right away, and said the parts would take about a week to get to me. But a week later the parts never showed up. I called, and they explained that there was a shipping error, and they would send out another hood. A week later, still nothing. I called again, and they said the hood was damaged, and that they needed to send a different one. Another week later, I called and they said they never shipped another hood because they didnt have it in stock. After patiently waiting a total of more than 2 MONTHS (and my card had been charged already!) I called to find out if the hood and lip were coming, and they said they would ship that day. So I waited yet another week, and finally saw the tuck pull up.

I was so excited that they were finally here. I took one box off the truck and asked the driver where the second box was, and he said there was none. I opened up the box and found that all I had received was the lip. STILL NO HOOD! I called them up to get a tracking number on the hood, assuming it got lost somewhere, and found out it still had never shipped! I was so irritated at this point, after being told so many different stories, that I said I wanted to cancel the order. They apologized once again and promised it would leave that instant, and be on its way to me. And for all my trouble they would send me some CF eyelids. So I gave in and said ok.

A week later the hood came in - but it was missing the hood pins!! So I couldnt even install it! And the CF eyelids I was promised for all my trouble were nowhere to be found!! I called them and they told me they would send the hood pins and eylids right away. A few days later the hood pins arrived, but no eyelids! I called three more times looking for my eyelids, and at this point they would not even answer the phone. I left 3 messages and wrote one email but never got a call back, nor an e-mail, and of course never saw the eyelids.

On top of all this, the fitment of the hood is terrible, it is only a single layer of CF, so it is very flimsy compared to other hoods I have used, and it has quite a few flaws in it. The lip spoiler had a few flaws, but fit better at least.

Overall I would never do business with this company again. I have built many show cars, including 3 that have had full magazine coverage. Of all the companies I have dealt with in building these cars, Mastergrade was hands down the WORST! From the quality of the product, to their customer service, to their business practices - the worst!

Sorry if I sound like I am ranting and raving.... I am! Phew =)

WOW! all this bad talk. I ordered a cf oem trunk spoiler and a cf oem front lip, and wass given a tracking number asap, and I received the parts in three days from cali, to new york. Overal, I am very, very pleased with the products and I give a to Mastergrade. The lip also came with honda mounting hardware , whereas my seibon cf lip cost twice as much and came with nothing

for mastergrade

I have their CF door panels and fit and finish on them are excellent.

I've also visited them personally and Perry helped cut a 1-DIN hole in my dash for my flip-out screen - he's a very pleasant guy.

I wouldn't hesitate to get their products in the future.

i got 04 CF front lip from them too, i think it fits like OEM ones, fitment is great, all mounting hardware included. $350 included shipping is not bad....i think, but i have to admit it is not 100%,

i mean if you want me to give a score for thieir 04 CF front lip fitment, i will give them 100%, which is a perfect A score.

if you guys want me to give a score for their 04 CF front lip, i will give them 89 %, which is a B score.

they are just not as good as real JDM CF products. sorry, but it is truly my personal opinion.

below is my pic, PM me if you want to see some more, because the pic files is too big to use in this forums and i have a lot.

well if you guys ever reach Perry or Will, tell them they still owe me money or a 1x1 weave cf front lip. I've been waiting for 6mts and don't expect to hear back from them as they won't take my call anymore
