Mr UPS was nice to me, he tried to deliver them again today...

I opened the box. Pulled them out and said, "Wow" they look great. They seem to made quite well and the carpeting appears to be good durable stuff. The middle piece and the rear piece are attached via velcro and I think will hold up well.

The ONLY thing that Giampiero warned me about was the "thinness" of the embriodery on the logo. He's correct, the thread density is not thick enough. He has assured me that this will be correct in production and ALL mats will have an acceptable thread density.

Am I pleased? Quite so...I won't be putting them in the car tonight, but will tomorrow. I did pull the stock mats out and matched them up and I expect a good fit. Stay tuned tomorrow for more pics...etc.

Greg, is there some kind of elastic material between the pieces, or are they separate? I hope there is some material, otherwise I am not sure how it would stay put even if you did have velcro.

Yes, there is a black mesh stretchy material in between the sections. It's not elastic, per se, but it's soft and slightly flexible. The center piece has two flaps of this material that attaches to strips of velcro that run the width of the two "outter" pieces...

I think the design works well. The stretchy material is good...essential IMO

They look pretty cool. Any chance of seeing them in the wild, i.e.; in the car?

I'm all about covering-up the pilling and matting on the floor. Naughty, naughty Honda.

I guess the Honda engineers never dated a 6 foot tall girl whilst designing the interior.

Zoinks!
