That’s a really good price for the mileage and condition.

Thanks for the words of encouragement every one.

Also, i think tomorrow, I should go out and drive a newer AP2, just so I know what a new one feels like.

I was saving up to buy a newer one for my b-day next year. I have the funds to get this one now though, it just feels like I am jumping in too soon. That is not a bad thing though.

Here is a series of emoticons that summarizes this situation for me:

Just do it. The AP1 feels so much more raw and wild than the AP2. It's a ton of fun. You won't regret it.

Let me know if you bail out on the deal. I'll fly to Texas and buy it. I got second dibs on this!

All right! I think I just need to try the competition (you know 350z, boxter, rx8...AP2) just to make sure. It has the color scheme I want too...

I should also mention that it does have new carpet as well. The plastic rear window is also in great shape, no fading and only a little wrinkled. Top is in excellent condition too. He also kept maintenance records. I am having a hard time talking myself out of this and you guys aren't helping
Why does a car with only 50K miles have new carpet? That makes me a little curious. I would look into if the car ever had water damage.

Well, guys, after doing some research and some serious contemplation, I am going to have to pass on this deal. I just cant swing it financially. My goal was to have some savings in case I loose my job (unlikely at this point), and if all went well, I would have enough saved to just buy an s2k with cash at the beginning of next year. Still, thanks for the encouragement every one.
